Amazfit Bip 3 and Amazfit Bip 3 Pro smartwatches were launched in India on Monday. The smartwatches are quite similar to each other in terms of specifications and features. As per the company, the prime difference between the Bip 3 and the Bip 3 Pro is GPS. The Pro model supports four satellite positioning systems that help the wearer track movement with high precision. The wearables specifications have already been revealed and they come with a 1.69-inch display, up to 14 days of battery life, and 5ATM water resistance.
Amazfit Bip 3, Amazfit Bip 3 Pro price in India, availability
The Amazfit Bip 3 has been priced at Rs. 3,499 but it will be available for Rs. 2,999 till 11.59pm on June 27 on Amazfit’s official website and Amazon India. The Amazfit Bip 3 smartwatch comes in Black, Blue and Pink colour options. As per Amazfit, the priority delivery of pre-orders started on June 27 from 12pm (noon). Furthermore, five random pre-orders before 12pm on June 27 will also get Amazfit Strap worth Rs. 999.
As for the Amazfit Bip 3 Pro, the price, colour, and availability are not known yet. This space will be updated once we get any information on these from the company.
Amazfit Bip 3, Bip 3 Pro specifications
As mentioned, the specifications of the Amazfit Bip 3 and the Bip 3 Pro are quite similar. They come with a plastic bottom case and a single crown. The wearables are equipped with a 1.69-inch TFT display with 240×280 pixels and 218ppi. There is a 2.5D tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating protection on the display. The smartwatch comes with silicone straps with classic buckle design.
When it comes to sports and fitness-related features, both the Amazfit Bip 3 and the Amazfit Bip 3 Pro smartwatches offer support for 60 sports modes including indoor (freeform workouts such as free training, strength training, and yoga) as well as outdoor workouts such as cycling, running, and walking, dance and combat sports, and winter sports. The difference between the Amazfit Bip 3 and the Bip 3 Pro smartwatches is the GPS.
Health-related features in the Amazfit Bip 3 and the Amazfit Bip 3 Pro smartwatches include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring (via BioTracker 2 PPG biometric sensor), stress and sleep tracking, breathing exercises, and female health tracking.
As far as the battery is concerned, both the Amazfit Bip 3 and the Bip 3 Pro smartwatches are claimed to offer up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. The 280mAh battery can be fully charged in 2 hours, the company says. The wearables use Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity, and is compatible with Android 7.0 and above as well as iOS 12.0 and above. It supports notifications of incoming calls, messages, reminders, and health as well as fitness data, which can also be accessed via Zepp App.

Apple Watch Series 8 has been tipped to feature the same design as its predecessor, the Apple Watch Series 7. A tipster has shared the expected colour options for the company’s rumoured next-generation wearable device. The leak specifically refers to the base variant of the Apple Watch Series 8. It is also said to feature four aluminium colour options and two stainless steel colour options. According to the tipster, who cites an unnamed source, no new sensors were noticeable on the smartwatch. A recent report had suggested that the Apple Watch Series 8 could support a ‘fever detection’ feature.
Tipster ShrimpApplePro (@VNchocoTaco) has leaked details regarding the base variant of the rumoured Apple Watch Series 8. According to the tipster, the wearable will feature a design similar to the previous generation smartwatch form Apple. It is said to feature Midnight, Starlight, Product Red, Silver colour options in aluminium. It could also get Silver and Graphite colour options for the stainless steel version, the tipster added.

The base variant of the Apple Watch Series 8 will not be available in a titanium model, according to the tipster, who also notes that their source was unable to visually notice any new sensors on the rumoured smartwatch series from Apple. Additionally, the tipster has also shared that the box of the Apple Watch Series 8 will get a new seal with stronger glue. This is said to prevent retailers and from repackaging the smartwatch. It is said to enter mass production this month.
Apple Watch Series 8 will reportedly sport the largest display that the tech giant has placed on a wearable. As per the report, the Watch Series 8 could be called the Apple Watch Pro. The wearable is also tipped to come with a good battery life. The smartwatch from OnePlus was hinted to feature a rectangular dial and a dedicated N Health app late last month. The wearable is expected to launch in India soon as the OnePlus Nord Watch was previously spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, as per a report. Another report in early July had also indicated that the production of the first Nord-branded smartwatch from the company could already be underway in several European and Asian regions.
A recent tweet by reliable tipster Mukul Sharma (Twitter: @stufflistings) hinted that the upcoming smartwatch from OnePlus, the OnePlus Nord Watch, may come in at least two colours, namely Black and White. The tipster also added that the Nord Watch from OnePlus will come with fitness-centric features on a budget and will also house a solid battery.

Oppo announced on Friday that the Oppo Watch 3 series will be unveiled in China on August 10. The company previously confirmed that this lineup will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC. Oppo has neither delved into any other information regarding this upcoming series nor has it officially revealed its complete design. However, alleged design renders of the Oppo Watch 3 leaked on Weibo recently. Now, a reliable tipster has shared even more alleged images of the Oppo Watch 3 series.
Oppo took to Weibo to announce that the launch date of the Oppo Watch 3 series is set for August 10. These smartwatches will be unveiled during a launch event that will begin at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST) in China. This launch date was previously tipped along with the information that this lineup could sport a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display with an adaptive refresh rate. The Oppo Watch 3 series could also feature ECG monitoring technology.
In related news, Evan Blass (@evleaks) has seemingly got his hands on an Oppo Watch 3 series smartwatch. He recently tweeted supposed live images that showcased the previously leaked rectangular dial with a crown button on the side. It seemingly sports a silver frame and a black silicon strap.
A recent report mentioned that a tipster leaked the design renders of the Oppo Watch 3, offering a look at its micro-arc design. Furthermore, these smartwatches are confirmed to feature a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC. The global variants will likely be equipped with this chipset as well.
The Oppo Watch 3 series is rumoured to include three models — OWW211, OWW212, and OWW213. They could come in Black, Silver, Dark Gray, and Light Gold colours. It is said to sport a high screen-to-body ratio with a minimum bezel design.
